Ultimate
Publishing produced a series of reprint magazines in the 1960s and
1970s.
The
longest running of these was Science Fiction Classics. The first
six issues, published in 1967 and 1968 were titled Science Fiction
Classics. The title then changed to Science Fiction Adventure Classics
for a single issue. The title then changed again to Strange Fantasy,
of which six issues were published (#s 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13), creating
a separate title. Following the 10th issue of Strange Fantasy, Science
Fiction Adventures #8 was published.
This
was then followed by Space Adventures for three issues (#s 9, 10
& 11). Science Fiction Adventure Classics was then introduced
again for another ten issues until a title change to Science Fiction
Adventures until the end of the run in 1973. Meanwhile, Space Adventures
continued its own sequence for two more issues in 1971.
