Marvel Science Stories was published from 1938 until 1939 when it changed titles to Marvel Tales. It retained this title until 1940, when it was changed again to Marvel Stories and was discontinued under that title. In 1950 it was resurrected with its original title of Marvel Science Stories and it kept this title through 1951, when it had its final title change to Marvel Science Fiction. It was published under that title until 1952.

A single British edition was published in 1951.
