COF’s THE BLIZZARD OF ‘10
We’re firmly in the midst of a “blizzard”. It’s been snowing steadly since yesterday morning (very light, almost constant).
Now, according to the forecasters, we’re supposed to have gotten 3 inches all day – and we’ve gotten that already! It’s still coming down pretty strong and we expect to be snowbound for the rest of the day, if not through Monday.
Here’s a few pictures from off the back deck to give you some small idea of what it looks like:

Light snow (even if constant) and only 3 inches is not what I’d term a blizzard. Let me tell you about the blizzard of ‘78…
Fred, 64 was better. what we have going on now is the prelude…
It’s 71 here right now, sunny, clear, no wind, Wife and I have our shorts on and are going for a walk. Eat your heart out.
The snow is pretty, though.
Gods, that makes me glad I live where winter happens to other people…
Great pictures! That all looks familiar. We got around 6 inches on Christmas eve and more on Christmas Day. We got another inch or so last night and the world looks like a Winter Wonderland again. I’m not complaining though, my former hometown in Nebraska got 18 inches of snow on Christmas eve. Yikes! Wouldn’t want to have to deal with that.
all you wimps living without the challenges of nature’s fury. (Hey, if my wife’s kids lived in Hawaii, I’d be living in Hawaii….)
