Oy!? I feel like a python that’s swallowed a cow!
I have finally finished the bulk of the work on the paintball website (here if you want to check it out) AND the bulk of the work on the secret project.
Which is – I’ve licensed the right the use the Hugo Award and Worldcon names and imagery of the Hugo Award itself (from the World Science Fiction Society) to produce a series of t-shirts.
The shirts are called CLASSIC HUGO AWARD WINNERS and they commemorate ALL of the Hugo winners – authors, artists, editors and fans – that have been given the award from 1946 through 1984. Classic – remember that.?
Like Riverworld, where everyone who has ever lived on the Earth is resurrected on the Riverworld, The Classic Hugo Winners feature anyone who’s ever won the award.? I even included the Retro Hugo Award winners.
I put together a series of designs, some featuring golden Hugo rockets, some without, and a variety of fannishly related front images – including one that says “I’M ON THE BACK”.? That means that if you’ve won a Hugo Award, you can let people know that you’re on the list, on the back of the t-shirt you’re wearing!

A few more designs are coming, including one that commemorates all of the Worldcons held to date.

Aaron – becauase I’m having issues with the blog and my writing program: issue 1 – no images, which really kills the blog (and it’s not the theme, I tested), and number 2 – when I post from the writing program (scribefire) it is set to allow comments. when I post right from the blog, it isn’t and I often forget to check that little box.
A loooong time ago I found the place where I select ‘always allow comments’ – but haven’t been able to find it again.
I may have some time to address these issues today.
