This website began as a single project, a place to compile and display the growing body of notes I was gathering for my Rim Worlds Concordance Project. A. Bertram Chandler is one of my favorite authors and he devoted the majority of his work to stories about, and characters who lived on and near, the Rim Worlds - the last frontier of the galaxy.

The Rim Worlds universe is as rich and detailed as any other science fiction author's worlds, and much more so than most. I thought it a shame that as time progressed this author and his works were being forgotten. My answer was to begin work on a concordance of the Rim, a database gleaned from more than twenty novels, several collections and numerous short stories.

The Concordance pages contain a (non searchable) compilation of the notes I've gathered so far, organized in a variety of different ways that make it relatively easy to learn about the planets, ships, people and places on the Rim.

The bibliography pages contain various organizations of Chandler's works and serve as supplements to the comprehensive bibliography that can be found on David Kelleher's official authors site - www.BertramChandler.com. David maintains an excellent site and has been a wonderful friend and resource.

The Rim Worlds section contains bits and pieces of information about the Rim that are not convienently located elsewhere. The Articles section contains several (mostly unfinished) pieces I've written on a variety of Rim Worlds and Chandler related topics.

The A. Bertram Chandler store is more of a search assistant for those who may be looking for Chandler's works.

The Links section contains a huge number of links that are at least parenthetically related to Chandler, his characters or the Rim Worlds.

The Support section is my 'tip jar'.
