THE VOLUME 1 NUMBER 1 SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY MAGAZINE CHECKLIST

THE MAGAZINE RACK

The Magazine Rack is a composite image of the primary magazine titles published between 1913 and the present. Hovering over a title will display a list of publications that the image is linked to. Clicking on the title will take you to a page displaying images of all of the related titles. All images are linked to both related images and to the Image Gallery sequential display of individual titles.

THE IMAGE GALLERY

The Image Gallery is an historically based sequential display of individual magazine titles and runs from 1913 until 2004. Each image is displayed over an astronomical image from either the Hubble or Spitzer Space Telescopes (when completed; not all images have a background yet).

Images are linked to other full page displays sequentially and to related magazines within a title's publication history. For example, Amazing Stories 1926 is linked to Weird Tales 1923 (preceding) and to Amazing Stories Annual 1927 (following) and is also linked to all of the Amazing Stories titles - Annual, Quarterly, Fantastic Stories, etc.

Next & Prev links take you through the images in sequential historical order.

<< Title >> links take you through the Title History Display pages (Amazing Stories related titles, Wonder Stories related titles), while << Group >> links take you through the individual titles within a history in sequential order. (Amazing 1926 to Annual 1927 to Quarterly 1928, etc.) Title and Group links only appear where appropriate.
