- A completely unflattering and totally incorrect ‘review’
of The Anarch Lords for a libertarian and anarchist readers’
list. I’ve included it here as a perfect example of how
someone can misread Chandler – especially from pre-conceived
notions. (I’m so completely baffled as to why Chandler
wasn’t ‘up’ on his nihilist theories. Just
might have something to do with his being a member of a profession
firmly entrenched in the establishment, ya think? This upset
me so much I almost ran off and joined an anarcho-syndicalist
commune…Come to think of it - just how do books get published
in an anarchist state?

of some author who has apparently borrowed heavily from Chandler…

An interesting and opinionated review of the Melbourne (Australia)
University Press’ SF Encyclopedia (I spelled it the correct
Mericun English way) which contains a lengthy section on Chandler.
(The Encyclopedia, not the review.)
