THE COMLPLETE GUIDE TO PAINTBALL

Along about 2001 Rob 'Tyger' Rubin made the mistake of telling me about the first mass-market paintball book that was then in production. I called up the publisher - Hatherleigh Press - pitched myself to them and ended up writing sections to fill just about every hole they had. I also made it into the photoshoot. The project was not a royalty-based deal, but what the heck - it got me a couple of mainstream magazine writing assignments (Playboy and Maxim among them). It also got me an entry at the Library of Congress that reads 'by Davidson, Steve, et al'. Pretty cool.
