BIBLIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION

A very complete bibliography of Chandler's works is available at www.bertramchandler.com. The breakout of bibliographic information provided in this section reformats that data in additional, and I hope, useful ways.

Alternate Titles lists all stories that have appeared in print under more than one title. Titles are listed alphabetically and there is an entry for each one (meaning that there will be multiple entries of each individual story).

Story Collections is a list of Chandler story collections by title, followed by each story found in the collection, in order of its presentation.

Magazine Issues provides detailed data on the magazines in which Chandler stories appear and includes publication date (month and year), volume and issue number, country of origin and the name of the stoy appearing in the publication. (Note that where a story has been published under multiple titles, an entry for each title is listed by magazine name, even though the story did not appear in the magazine under that particular title. This is done to aid in collecting.

Anthologies is an alphabetical listing of anthologies, collections and magazines in which Chandler stories appear. Again, this list is to aid collectors.

By Date of Publication lists all of the individual Chandler titles by year of publication. This list was compiled to aid in the creation of the timeline and concordance. Only the initial appearance in print of a particular title is listed here.

Visual Bibliography is a collection of scans of the books and magazines containing Chandler's stories in my collection.

Want List is an alphabetical listing of the stories I am still looking for.
